  Fact FinderFact Finder is a new Agenda feature in which statements or claims made by politicians or political candidates on the campaign trail are checked as to their accuracy. Fact Finder is a joint venture between Agenda production staff and a team of post-graduate political science students from The University of Auckland. The University team are: Michelle Craig, Amy Friedman, Dennis Fischer, Matthew McIvor, Katie Ussher, Daniel Wai-Poi & Miles Watson. They are being led by Dr Jennifer Curtin, a Senior Lecturer in Political Studies.
The University of Auckland's Department of Political Studies is one of the leading politics departments in Australasia. Staff research expertise covers a wide range of areas, including comparative politics, political theory, public policy, media and politics, international relations, as well as New Zealand and regional politics.

This week our team of post-graduate political studies students had to dig up research they used in week one and have also been costing out roading projects and looking at benefit figures.
This week the team have picked out some loose talk during various election debates and they've pegged a certain someone from our programme last week.
This week Fact Finder focusses on how much things cost.
Our team of post-graduate political science students question the accuracy of Act's Heather Roy's claim there's a lack of transparency in tertiary student's associations, check up on John Key in campaign mode and find New Zealand First leader Winson Peters getting his facts wrong twice in one week. 
Our post-graduate political science students have been busy again this week checking claims made by politicians as they campaign for your vote.
The statistics department has been taking a pounding but the team has also been trawling through lengthy reports published in Australia.
