Fact Finder

Fact Finder is a new Agenda feature in which statements or claims made by politicians or political candidates on the campaign trail are checked as to their accuracy.

Fact Finder is a joint venture between Agenda production staff and a team of post-graduate political science students from The University of Auckland.  The University team are: Michelle Craig, Amy Friedman, Dennis Fischer, Matthew McIvor, Katie Ussher, Daniel Wai-Poi & Miles Watson.  They are being led by Dr Jennifer Curtin, a Senior Lecturer in Political Studies.

The University of Auckland's Department of Political Studies is one of the leading politics departments in Australasia. Staff research expertise covers a wide range of areas, including comparative politics, political theory, public policy, media and politics, international relations, as well as New Zealand and regional politics.
